For the month of May, our team has assembled a diverse list of tracks, spanning 65 years of history (the oldest track was recorded in 1956 and the newest one in 2021). One of the most interesting finds this month is Alfonso de Vilallonga’s The “Flat Five Gang” from his 1991 album “The End Of An Era”. An eerie yet beautifully atmospheric track with a killer base line. guiding the listener through a frightening account of our modern civilisation that rings truer than ever more than 30 years later. Another gem is Nathalie Joachim’s awesome electro-acoustic track “Life Lines” that proves above all that experimental concert music can still be groovy and engrossing.
