For the month of June we have focused on more recent recordings, as most tracks were recorded in the last 10 years. Two of the highlights this month are tracks by Israeli independent music groups. The first being Kayfuyem by Shitty CT. A gripping track based on a sample from an Arsen Petrosov song of the same title. The group injects new energy into this song by adding a killer trap beat and combining it with their own flair of post-soviet and middle-eastern influences. The second track, “Namal Ashdod” is another jam coming from underground electronic band Megaphonim from their 2022 EP of the same name. The track describes the various technological advantages of the port of Ashdod in the group’s characteristic nonsense humour and highly detailed production style.
