This time we decided to take you on a short trip around the globe with tracks by artists from… well… all over the world. Some notable highlights this month come from where you’d least expect it. The impassioned Placer Hollywood by Chilean/Mexican artist Mon Laferte will keep you on your toes as she effortlessly jumps between languages and vocal ranges. The explosive Wide Shut by Tunisian prog metal band Myrath has delightful surprises waiting for you at every single corner, just be careful to not lose yourself in the endless sands of the Sahara desert. And finally, the sombre P.E.S.A.N by Indonesian RIO band Discus, a beautiful display of minimalist restraint, all the while employing a truly unique approach to both harmonization and polyphony.
