This month has been quite busy and some of the songs have proven hard to track down. So let’s start by highlighting the two songs that simply do not exist on any streaming platform.

The first track of this month’s playlist is a raw and youthful ball of pure energy brought to us by the Japanese punk band Everybody’s Enemy from their second album The Enemy Strikes Back. There is currently one copy for sale on discogs.com so go ahead and buy it if you are a monthly playlist completionist. Another track that we couldn’t find on any streaming platform (there is a sample on soundcloud, but it’s not good enough for our needs) is Uytrere’s remix of a track by Kamome Sano (we added a link to the original for the brave and the curious). Featuring the vocaloid voice of VY1, this track sends the listener into a whole other dimension of musical possibilities, none of them acoustic, all of them awesome.

Some highlights that you can track down quite easily:

The short yet intense “Vždyť už tam jsme” by Czech punk band Zeměžluč is a fiery number that starts at 11, dials it up and ends before you could even discern what’s going on. The last track “When We Remain” is the newest on this month’s playlist (2020). This touching ballad by Samantha Crain, sung in the Choctaw language, takes us on a journey though a full range of emotions. It is dramatic and full of pathos, yet intimate and personal and all that is left for us is to close our eyes and let the music guide us.
